Laura - RE: MMM’s involvement - if that’s the direction we want to go, we just need to make a decision & understand the scope of work of the events. Ensuring MMM can staff & has a transition plan. If we want to explore that, it could be done in a separate meeting or async (may be good to have at least a kickoff meeting). Would be cool to take this on, would need to incorporate this into a budget process to coordinate resourcing needs
Kris - We can connect separately, but it’s on our objectives to engage more with those coming into the community.
Laura - We can definitely support a strategic partnership so we know we’re aligned (goes for anyone running ritual events at the DAO) we’re creating a community engagement strategy & the thinking behind it. Not necessarily MMM owned
Emu - thats is awesome would love to jam on that!
Lindsey - Async discord convo - product & GPC want a place where 1st week of every month could do a fairly-public roadmap update where they can share what has been shipped over the past month (maybe highlight a particular domain). Want to create a consistent cadence. What I DON’T want to do is create a separate time or a new slot.
Joe - It would be awesome to do 1 week for each workstream…
Laura - Explainers got wide reach, want to ensure we’re reaching as many people as possible. Can we record the DAO Vibes calls? If we could parse out audio or video, we could package things for shorter promotional/explainer type content
Lindsey - I had asked Saf, he said there is some tweaking that needs to be done to the discord event so it can be done. Super supportive of handing off that recording to MMM for marketing love. Planned at a minimum to post on the forum. Want to do transcripting on top of the recording (maybe product team could do that? perhaps a more effective way. Can break down)
Laura - Kris can your team ensure the recording happens & transcribing?
Kris - Recording, yes. No budget for transcribing. Umar was transcribing in the past. Wasn’t budgeted, used slush fund
Laura - App called firefly. Maybe can upload a video that gives us a word for word transcription?
Kris - We can look into this.
Joe - you can run a transcription through a service from the audio…
