Congratulations for having made it to our first Co.Lab fellowship! You were the few selected after many hours of deliberation and research on our part
Welcome.
 
First things first, when and where and what you should expect.
Please make sure you are able to do this and otherwise let us know.
What you should expect timewise
We are expecting 20 hours per week split more or less into
  • 5 hours a week mentorship / learning
  • 12 hours a week prepping and doing research
  • 3 hours a week reviewing and refining your research
Please find time in your calendar and block it asap!
 
Every week, Live Sessions:
  • Workshops: Tuesdays 2 to 4pm UTC, we’ll host courses/workshops with an expert or mentor
  • Thursdays: you’ll have a 30 min share-out, plus 30min 1-1 touchpoint with your head mentor
  • Office hours: 30-1h work sessions that you can book with all mentors to debug and go deep
These times are fixed, and as needed we will connect you with others or spend more time with you. You’re welcome to invite a co-founder to join you too.
 
How we communicate
  • Our main comms platform will be RnDAO’s Discord in the #fellows-only channel. You can start threads to discuss with the mentors (role @fellowship staff) or if needed you can also start private threads.
  • For the workshop sessions, we will always be meeting in Zoom if not otherwise stated.
 
RnDAO Onboarding (Pre-requisites to a successful fellowship)

  1. If you’re not already familiar, learn how to use Notion, Miro, Loom, and Google Forms
  1. Create a page for you in the and fill your info
  1. Learn about the RnDAO collaborative databases:
  1. Create an account in MeetWithWallet and connect your Discord for easy scheduling: https://meetwithwallet.xyz
  1. Check you have access to RnDAO’s notion (you’ve been invited via email)
 
Networking
To succeed in the Fellowship you’ll need to be able to reach potential customers. If you haven’t already started building relationships with them, we recommend you start immediately.
  1. On X/Twitter start posting about the topic you are interested in (e.g. announce that you’ll be researching this through the @rndao__ fellowship)
  1. Start following and engaging with people on this area, create a twitter list
  1. Join Discord servers and LinkedIn groups that might have your target audience (for Web3 communities, try looking on https://truts.xyz/)

The times below will be repeated every week, if you’re not able to make them, please let us know asap.
Orientation session
On Tuesday 9th of January, 2-4pm UTC we will be doing our Orientation

  • The fellowship - exercise in Learning in public
  • Outline of what awaits you
  • Questions from Fellows
  • Rhythm and Rituals - a Day in the Life of a Fellow
  • This weeks homework
 
Questions to answer for Launch Session:
  • What are your goals for the fellowship?
  • What are the fears / blocks you might face?
  • What is the cost to you personally if you don’t go through with it?
  • Plan your 3 months high level and reserve time to work
 
Launch session (share out + 1:1 with head mentor)
On Thursday 11th at 2pm UTC, then 30mins agreed with head mentor

Reading and Preparation
Before the first week we need you to do some prep, we will be moving fast and want you to be up to speed so you can get the most out of it. Here are some short summaries, feel free to go deeper if you want but definitely be aware of concepts.
