Welcome of new members

Permioth is from Milan and he is educated in governance and public law. He doesn’t have a finance background.

MDLawyer is a lawyer from Portugal and he works in a tier 1 law firm. He works on blockchain-related matters. He expressed his view on the prominence of Lisbon in crypto.

ComeBackKid is from Toronto and he came across the DAO through the podcast. He did his clerkship at the Department of Justice and he worked as a commercial litigator. He works with startups in various roles. He is passionate about the Bankless’ vision.

Ethowl is an attorney from Chicago. He is excited about the community. He has previously worked with a large law firm and currently works as an in house counsel at a large telecom firm.

Decentralized Law Newsletter

Eagle stated that the newsletter is almost ready and the issue is more global.

Hiro has started the editing.

We are looking for more summaries. Contributors can drop in a message in the newsletter. We are looking for global articles.

ComeBackKid can suggest a summary he wants to put in with respect to US/Canada developments.

Starting next season a full-time editor will be hired to plan the issues.

All contributors are encouraged to vote for the newsletter proposal.

Next Season

Legal Guild Proposal (Eagle): All the people will present the proposal for season 3. A big increase in price occurred of BANK. Hence, that will help the contributors.

Tax Consulting (Lion & Taxpanda): The proposal will be uploaded on the forum soon. This will be a large project and it will be a living document that will bring revenue. To gain access to research, a taxpunk NFT will be minted. CryptoBushi will be promoting the project and he is on board. Hirokennelly will be helping with the proposal as well.

Digital Nomad (Jengajojo): Jengajojo will be done with the proposal soon and he is also interested in the NFT project that can be implemented based on the success of the taxpunk.

White Paper

White paper draft will be submitted by contributors on 30 December 2021.

News from DAO

Legal Entity (Omen): The bankless consultancy has been going well. The consultancy project has a legal budget. Hence, US lawyers are welcome to reach out. The merch is going as well, the DAO is looking for AML experts to help out. Blackfyre offered to help out. Consultancy project requires incorporation in the US.

There is a discussion to reduce remuneration as BANK price increases.

There is a discussion to reduce the threshold to become Level 1.
