DAO Cartography Governance

Purpose

This Governance Framework will serve to guide the members of the DAO Cartography Work Stream (hereafter DAO Cartography) in all things regarding the organization of DAO Cartography, and the management of labor and funding within DAO Cartography.

 

Consensus

• Consensus is found via weekly meetings and Sesh polls

• Only Sobol Editor and Cartographer role tag holders are eligible to vote in the consensus polls.

• The poll option that gathers more than %50 percent of the votes will be accepted.

 

Contributing

Members of the DAO Cartography are encouraged to “actively contribute” to the success of the DAO Cartography which includes, but is not limited to:

1. Get Sobol Editor Tag

2. Fill in your Sobol profile.

3. Participate in the mapping of bDAO.

4. Attending and participating in meetings.

5. Voting on polls, roles, and any decisions affecting DAO Cartography.

6. Give feedback about your mapping experience.

7. Take on administrative roles

Administrative Role Holder Responsibilities

• Role holders should update the work stream once a month of what they been doing in that month in #dao-cartography channel.

• Role holders should attend at least %50 of coordination weekly meetings through out of each month.

• Have to inform beforehand if they are not available to join any meeting.

• The role holders should write a seasonal summary of their experiences through the season.

Elections:

Lazy Consensus :

• Seasonal elections will start with a lazy consensus where the work stream will be asked to approve or disapprove of the role holder to keep their role.

• If the work stream thinks that the role holder is fulfilling their responsibilities they might vote for them to keep their roles. In this case there will be no need for a new role holder election for that role.

• Role elections takes place in the last week of the season.

• Only Sobol Editor and Cartographer tag holders are eligible for nomination.

• Nominees apply to their roles via a sesh poll set for each role. The nomination polls will be held for 2 days.

• Election polls will be set for 3 days generated from the outcomes of the nomination polls.

• In case of a tie in the elections, the contributor who finished more tasks during the season will be assigned to the role.

 

Renumeration

• Role remuneration are done monthly at the end of each month

• Mapping renumeration are done seasonly. A base bounty is set for each task and there is a Coordinape round for Sobol Editors at the end of each season. The base bounty for each task will be paid with the Coordinape results.

 

Coordinape

• The contributors finishing at least 1 task from the task board are eligible for the seasonal coordinape.

• A pool of 90000 BANK is split between the Sobol Editor contributors of the coordinape.

• Sobol Editors are only eligible to receive GIVE tokens.

• Cartographers and Role Holders are eligible for distributing GIVE tokens.
The task board is integrated with Coordinape. Token distributors check the tasks done and distribute tokens weighted on the amount of work done.
