Product Squad Ad Hoc PM Workflow
Understand MMM Meeting Formats
Review the structure of the MMM Meetings to better understand how and when to contribute:
Know your points of contact
Know who you will be interacting with on a day-to-day basis, what they are responsible for, and how to contact them in relation to specific project needs.
Some frequent points of contact are:
- All Product Leads and PMs

Review Brief
You will receive briefs from within the Product Squad. They may come from Grants Stack, Allo Success, Program/Donor Marketing, or Passport Success. You will usually not be involved in high-level strategy, but rather oversight and support. With that in mind, ensure you have all relevant context about the request including what is needed, deadlines, who is involved, and the overall vision for how it will be executed.
If the project is for Program/Donor Marketing, there will be special considerations, which are covered below.
Coordinate Campaign Execution
Make sure all assigned campaigns are executed effectively and accurately. Coordinate with all team members who are involved in the campaign to ensure they have the necessary resources and support to accomplish their tasks successfully.
This includes facilitating communication, addressing any questions or concerns, and ensuring collaboration between the different stakeholders to achieve the campaign objectives.
Program/Donor Marketing
In addition to the previous steps, when overseeing a Program/Donor Marketing Campaign, you will need to take the following steps:
- Co-lead Social Media: The primary goal of the Program/Donor Marketing PM is to stimulate donations and applications. Adapt the social media campaign based on community feedback and contextual variables (such as high/low gas fees and what is happening within the round). See this workflow for more information: Marketing Campaign Management
- Support the Community: Check support channels, ensure that any reported issues are appropriately addressed. Integrate this feedback into the campaign communications.
