Meeting Note
Reviewers
Themes to be tackled
1.) Better onboarding
2.) Complete - Time of the weekly meet and better meeting minutes
3.) More tasks for members

3.1) New members want micro tasks to work on

3.2) Overall there is a tendency that members want someone to define the tasks that need to be worked on
4.) Improve Governance

5.) Unclear fit between guilds activities and customers of the guild (who are they?)
Proposed activities
On 1.)
This is currently tackled by the talent workstream
On 2.)
Since there was no consensus to move the time of the weekly meet, we will still record the session on Youtube, so you can listen to it. Educational sessions will be offered separately and there is a talent workstream meeting, a new meeting for the education workstream will probably follow soon.
On 3.)
BanklessDAO is a decentralized organization that lives of empowering people to work on the things they are good and passionate about. You as a contributor know what you are passionate about and good at. So why not create your own tasks? All we need to make sure is that these tasks are aligned with the purpose of the guild and are perceived as valuable.
0xRene propose to have two ways tasks can be created:
a.) A role holder needs a task to be done to follow the overall seasonal goal they are supposed to work towards. They describe a task, define the acceptance criteria and everyone can claim the task.
b.) You can come up with a task as member. When you have an idea, propose it to the guild, ask a role holder to confirm that it is aligned with the purpose of the guild and ask the guild to signal that there is value in this task. Then just do it and enjoy the appreciation of your work by your fellow guild members.
On 4.)
We have strengthened the role holder election process by defining and agreeing on a policy for role holder election. Also, we are defining a new accounting role, who will keep us accountable on the BANK side. More will be implemented along the way, if you have specific needs raise them in the channel and propose a change to our Governance.
On 5.)
This will be addressed in the coming Friday weekly session.
Points we gathered during the analysis - just FYI
We are now evaluating the results of the individual free text input to see if there is more information to work on
