Co-manage the Gitcoin Twitter
Co-manage the Gitcoin Twitter with the Social Media Lead. This will include:
  • Reviewing all high-level content that is intended for Twitter, ensuring its quality and alignment with the organization's objectives.
  • Aiding in the development of a comprehensive content calendar.
  • Generating innovative ideas to boost engagement.
Writing and Send Emails
When there is an announcement post or message that needs to get out, you will be responsible for crafting and sending emails. Sometimes you will receive an email draft, rather than needing to craft it yourself. If this is the case, simply review and edit it as necessary before sending it out.
Emails are sent from HubSpot, in which is an email template. Fill out the template and send the email as specified.
Reviewing SM Content Before Publishing
A crucial part of your role involves reviewing social media content before it is published. Assess the voice and accuracy of the content, checking for errors, grammar, spelling, and adherence to the organization's style guide.
If there are any requests for retweets or posts through social media, assessing if the content fits within Gitcoin’s voice and styleguide, as well as the overall content calendar. If you are uncertain, collaborate with experienced individuals like the Marketing Director, Brand and Marketing Strategist or Social Media Manager to seek guidance and ensure that the chosen content aligns with the intended objectives.
Write SM content
In addition to reviewing and curating content, you will sometimes be responsible for writing social media posts. This includes crafting compelling threads and generating ad hoc content to bridge any gaps in the content calendar.
Tools like Typefully and ChatGPT can assist you in creating impactful content. Throughout your work, maintain adherence to Gitcoin’s voice and styleguide, as it is crucial to building a strong brand presence.
