Ruta Freimane

 

A JavaScript developer specialising in React.JS and Redux libraries, Ruta has worked in both small start up in Germany (Pure Labs) and big cooperate company (Accenture) before coming to Argyle.

A Web Developer internship with Accenture turned into a Junior Web Developer role in 2017. As a front-end developer, she found herself working with technologies like React.js, Redux, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, LESS, Bootstrap, Jest, jQuery as well as PHP, Symfony framework, Twig, and PHPUnit. In 2018, she brought those skills to her role as a Software Development Analyst with Accenture.

Later that year, Ruta worked on the "Moving" Mobile app as a Product Engineer for Pure Labs Gmbh, in Germany. She worked on the app from the beginning, using React.JS and Cordova, seeing the project through to its publishing in the Apple App and Google Play stores.

In 2019, she again found herself at Accenture as a Software Engineer working with server-side rendered React app and GraphQL. As a full-stack developer, she was implementing for both client and server-side and using atomic design principles on the front end.

Ruta also taught React / Redux (and Front End in general) at Accenture JavaScript Bootcamps. She also presented a talk at FrontCon 2018 conference in Riga about Jest and Enzyme.

Before Accenture, Ruta worked as a freelance photographer/videographer and studied art in Visual Communications faculty at Art Academy of Latvia.
