Meetwith - Productive meetings, for everyone.
Introduction
In a world increasingly driven by the gig economy and the rise of digital nomadism, traditional corporate structures no longer suffice for the modern worker. Enter Meetwith, a revolutionary platform designed to cater to the dynamic and multifaceted lives of DAO contributors, freelancers, multi-preneurs, and those juggling multiple online jobs. Our mission is to empower these trailblazers with a flexible, efficient, and private way to manage their professional lives and teams.
Meetwith wants to make meetings more efficient and productive while maintaining privacy in a decentralized world.

Meetwith Vision - First Draft
In today’s dynamic work environment, meetings are essential for collaboration, decision-making, and driving projects forward. However, the effectiveness of these meetings significantly impacts productivity and team members satisfaction. At Meetwith, we have built out an initial architecture powering effective meeting scheduling for individuals and teams, but that is not enough. We need to ensure we build a product that empowers people doing work in the non-traditional way to be able to work and meet productively with others within and outside their organisation. By embracing these core philosophies, we can get on track to building a tool for people doing work the new way.
Purpose-Driven Meetings
Every meeting should have a clear and defined purpose that aligns with organizational/team goals. Meetings without a specific objective often lead to wasted time and resources. We have to make it possible that objective for meetings are conspicuously captured for meetings, we will embed tools for defining and communicating the meeting’s purpose, ensuring that every meeting is necessary and goal-oriented. Features will include templates for setting clear objectives and automated reminders to keep the focus on the meeting’s goals during recordings/note taking.
Implementation:
- Agenda Setting: Create and share detailed agendas that outline the meeting’s purpose and key discussion points.
- Goal Tracking: Integrate goal-tracking tools that link meeting outcomes to broader organizational objectives.
Inclusivity and Diversity
Meetings should value diverse opinions and create an environment where all participants feel comfortable contributing. Inclusivity drives richer discussions and better decision-making.
We are primarily building for a web3 audience where inclusivity is one of the key ethos. We need to build an inclusive environment with features that promote equal participation and respect for all voices. This includes tools for anonymous feedback and balanced speaking time analytics to ensure no single voice dominates the conversation in video and audio meetings.
Implementation through Integrations or Build in-house:
- Anonymous Feedback: Allow participants to provide anonymous feedback during and after meetings.
- Balanced Participation: Use analytics to monitor speaking time and ensure balanced participation across all attendees.
Healthy Meetings
Regular assessment and refinement of meeting processes are crucial for enhancing effectiveness and efficiency. Continuous improvement helps identify and eliminate unproductive habits.
Incorporate feedback mechanisms and analytics within our product to continually improve meeting quality and participant satisfaction. By regularly evaluating meetings, organizations/teams can implement changes that lead to more productive sessions.
Implementation:
- Post-Meeting Surveys: Distribute surveys to gather feedback on meeting effectiveness and areas for improvement.
- Meeting Analytics: Provide detailed reports on meeting metrics, such as duration, participation levels, and outcomes.
Integrations
Leveraging technology to streamline scheduling, communication, and documentation enhances meeting productivity and participant convenience. Providing integrations with calendars, video/audio conferencing tools, event platform, and collaborative software to facilitate smooth and efficient meetings. By integrating these tools, we can reduce the friction often associated with managing multiple platforms.
Implementation:
- Calendar Integration: Sync with major calendar applications to streamline scheduling and avoid conflicts.
- Video/Audio Conferencing: Embed video/audio conferencing capabilities with one-click access to join meetings.
- Collaborative Tools: Integrate with project management and document sharing platforms to enable real-time collaboration during meetings.
- Event Platforms: Integrating and orchestrate virtual event platforms that helps anyone schedule events from their dashboard.
Flexibility and Adaptability
Meetings should be adaptable to different formats and participant needs. Flexibility ensures that meetings can be easily schedule by forming and disbanding a team, easily fetching their availabilities without any back and forth and communicating meeting schedule through multiple platforms (Email, Slack, Discord etc).
Meetwithwallet should cater for in-person, virtual, and hybrid meetings effectively without any location/time zone issues which would later be enhanced by our Mobile Product release. Customizable settings will cater to various scenarios and preferences, making meetings more inclusive and effective.
Implementation:
- Friction-less meeting scheduling for individuals and teams. A comprehensive direction can be found here.
- Hybrid Meeting Support: Offer features that facilitate seamless hybrid meetings, ensuring remote and in-person participants can interact effectively.
- Platform bots: Building interactive bot for platform like Slack, Discord, Console etc.
- Customization Options: We have to build functions that affords hosts to customize meeting settings to suit different types of meetings, from formal presentations to casual brainstorming sessions.
Next phase: Web3 Meetings Protocol
Web2 Calendar Infrastructure Limitations:
Web2 calendar tools like Google Calendar are optimised for collaboration within corporate teams (those within the same @ domain can see each other's calendars, but those with a different domain can't book, and permission management is a pain).
The same problem is present with booking tools like Calendly, where we can easily share our link with one other person, but coordinating multiple people with different @ domains is a pain. And they are expensive or limit the number of available booking options
When it comes to scheduling group meetings, tools like lettuce meet are often referred, but they already fall short in the basics. For example, you have to manually send the link to every invitee, follow up with them manually (no reminders built-in), and once the time is agreed, you have to manually create a calendar invite with the link to the meeting.
And when it comes to communities, web2 calendar tools force a rather awkward permission management system with a human single point of failure and no ability for community members to propose events without being granted admin permissions themselves.
