Problem Statement 1

I am ____queer Sikh computer science student who is interested in web3 technologies  ___

[a unique person with my context]

I am trying to ___find web3 communities to join so that I find help on my learning journey and like minded individuals to discuss tech and maybe build professional network _______________

[accomplish an important goal]

But _____I can’t tell if a community is worth it for me to join unless I spend a great amount of time and risk getting stressed._____________________

 [I have this problem]

Because _____There’s no easy way to get the information that is necessary for me to choose a community: find out if I’m welcome to participate in discussions, and if other members will want to engage with me on subject matter rather than my personal identity.____________

Which makes me feel _______like I’m less valuable as a human and certainly not expected to be able to build and create brilliant tech________________

I am ______blockchain developer relations lead of an L1 blockchain company which has lost its position as a cutting edge innovator_______________________

I am trying to _____improve our company’s outreach and attract diverse individuals from unique backgrounds who will help to increase creativity and innovativeness of the company__________________________

But ______I don’t know how to make the company more interesting for people from backgrounds different than my own / one that’s shared by most people here____________________

Because ______I’ve always been following similar script: I know what I want in a candidate if I think about existing employees, and I know what candidates like that value in a potential employer. On the other hand, when I think about candidates from backgrounds very different from mine, I don’t understand what attracts them and what makes them stay in a company or a community._________________

But _______I don’t know how to understand what makes a community safe for a trans teenager or a trans adult___________________

Because ________I only recently started to understand what is transphobia_______________
