AGENDA
- Welcome
- Discussion
- How many tasks does it take to qualify for Scribe status?
- This point of discussion shifted from number of tasks to a threshold of BANK earned. As there was no disagreement to exploring the possibility of awarding Scribe status based on earning a certain amount of BANK, the conversation shifted to what this may look like. Should this concept prevail, item 2.b will be moot, as defining tiers would be unnecessary with regard to arriving at a BANK threshold.
- Tasks that qualify toward Scribe
- Tiers for tasks?
- General consensus is that anything that serves the Guild may count as a task. This will be pertinent to the discussion should the number of tasks be key to attaining Scribe status; irrelevant, should the focus be on awarding Scribe after a member attains a specific amount of BANK, as noted above in 2.a.i.
- Create process for codifying operating guidelines
- Does Scribe status need to be earned each season?
- Open Discussion
GENERAL NOTES
Discord/contributing can be pretty confusing. We must ease the process in how members can learn of opportunities and pick up those opportunities. Weβre using various platforms to operate as a Guild and within projects; how do we simplify onboarding across all of these, with an easy system that allows members to recognize what is available and how to claim that.
Guild Map, tools in use by Guild: Sobol, Discord, Commonwealth
Β
All tasks that contribute to the production, shipping, and promotion of Writers Guild publications, and all tasks that contribute to the operations of the Writers Guild and its included projects will count toward achieving Scribe status.
ACTION ITEMS
Create thread regarding number of tasks vs. BANK threshold for earning Scribe/Scribbler
Discuss onboarding with Talent Management. How can introduce the importance of governance in the Writers Guild during the onboarding process, and how do make it easy for everyone incoming to know where to look for work?
NEXT WEEK DISCUSSION TOPICS
- Continue discussion around tasks vs BANK threshold
- Gating Coordinape. Whoβs responsibility is it to manage Epochs?
Β

- Discuss Role expansion and responsibilities
- Adding/Removing Roles
- What will partnerships with other entities/DAOs look like?
Β
