This ticket is created as the close button doesn’t work on the “Payment Methods:” screen. And it also doesn't exist on other screens, which hinders UX. To complete this task close button needs to exist and work on “Payment Methods,” “Token Options,” and “Failure Screen” to allow the user to close the modal. To keep the UX consistent, the close button is not implemented on the “Processing,” “Email,” and “Success”  screens as further actions from those screens don’t require a close button, and we want users to close the modal accidentally.
