Usability Testing Script Round 1

Introduction:
Hello! Thank you for taking time out of your busy schedule to help us today. I’ll be asking you to complete a few tasks and then asking a few questions at the end.

I have a few questions for you before we start
  • Have you done usability testing/anything like this before?
  • Have you worked in more than one organization at a time?
    • How did you communicate with other team members?
  • How do you currently schedule meetings with a group of people?
  • Have you ever used Meet With Wallet to schedule meetings?
Great thank you!
For context about the tasks we are not testing you or your abilities. We are testing our product and the usability of the design.
Please think out loud and walk us through your thoughts as you go through each action and be as honest as possible. All of your feedback is only going to help improve the product. If you have questions I may not be able to answer them as we want to see how intuitive the design is.
Setup:
We are sending you the link through the chat for our design. Please open it and share your screen with us so we can see the design open.
Do we have your permission to record this session?
Context About Group Feature:
I’m assuming you’ve experienced the frustration that can come with scheduling a meeting with one person or a group of people. It can take a long time to figure out everyone’s availability because of time zones, being on different teams, multiple platforms, and lack of visibility into others schedules.
Does this sound familiar to you?
This is why we have created the feature you will be testing.
Tasks:
  1. Scenario: You meet weekly with a team and it takes a lot of work to send them individual invites for each meeting
    1. Please show me how you would create a group of the members that will be at this meeting
  1. Scenario: You have a new member on your team and would like to add them to your weekly group meeting.
    1. Please show me how you would add a new member to the group
  1. Scenario: Now that you’ve created the group and added everyone
    1. Please show me how you would schedule a meeting with the team in early afternoon
  1. What do you think of this screen? How would you navigate through this screen to schedule a meeting?

Follow Up Questions:
  1. Did you find it helpful or valuable to see the calendar connections of the members in the group you created? Why or why not?
  1. What do you think the required column means and what about the design tells you that?
  1. How would you use this feature in your daily life?
  1. Was there anything that you really like in the design?
  1. Is there anything missing that you wish was included in the design?
  1. Were there steps or parts of the process that were confusing or took you a bit longer to figure out?
