    1. New member intro
      2. Zara and modupeola are new members who joined the writers guild meeting this session. They introduced themselves and stated why they joined the writers guild meeting.
      Modupeola stated that she joined to learn
      Zara also stated she wasn't very good with writing but would love to learn, since the DAO is a place for growth.
    2. gm gm 2023 check in
      3. Many governance contributors where not on seat today because of the holidays which is understandable.
      0xz checked in to 2023 and said he looks forward to writing more this year
      Anointingthompson checked into 2023 with a lot of enthusiasm and hoped for greater things in the writers guild this year
      Boluwatife checked into 2023 with a lot of good vibes and energy and shared her issue with writers block. Hiro offered to help her overcome this as be believes there's no such concept as a writers block, it's just that we're finding it hard to express what we want to on paper
      Coolcat checked into 2023 with a cool energy, she said she's having a good time with her projects. Coolcat shared she'll be going to south Asia very soon and might not be able to make it to all the meetings. Which is fine as long as she doesn't burn herself out
      Emmanuel is a legal practitioner who joined the writers DAO late last year. He checked into 2023 with the energy of learning how to write more this year.
      King IBK checked into 2023 with the mentality of growing in the writers guild this year
      Meesh checked into 2023 with the will to do more
      Eth hunter checked into 2023 taking us through his thought process of writing more this year and preparing someone else to take over his role of Treasury coordinator this year .
      Nonsensetwice checked into 2023 with the intention of taking care of himself this year. He doesn't want to chase a lot of things and end up not achieving anything significant this year. He wants to find his focus and grow this year.
      Siddhearta.eth checked into 2023 by setting intentional boundaries, he wants to take his health more seriously, his mind and himself all round.
      Win verse checked into 2023 with the enthusiasm of learning more in the web 3 space this year and take care of his health
      Zara checked into 2023 with hopes of self improving this year.
      Trewkat checked into 2023 by wishing us a happy new year and hopes not to be drained as much this year. She is excited about what she can achieve with the team this year.

          Trewkat said that an article will be dropping in a few days to a weeks time so we should watch that space.

      1. New Years Poems
        2. Hiro won't be paying for participation in the writers playground this year. He feels that , while it helps it doesn't fully help
    6. Budgets!
      7. Season 7 will start soon and budgets should be submitted by January 20th.
    7. Elections!
      8. Positions this season are opening up mainly because of the role holders are stepping down. People interested in those roles should start applying, so they can be included in the soft consensus.

    2. Treasurer (EthHunter): gave updates on the 2 people that he is training for treasury
    3. Governance Coordinator (nonsensetwice):
      4. coolcat will be leading a campaign that Will help promote governance
      There is now a GitHub for governance call
      d. Education Coordinator (tomahawk): is not available for an update
      e. Marketing Coordinator (WinVerse): he noted that he has had some challenges in carrying out tasks, but they are still pushing. He's planning on having a thread go out this week or next week. Going forward he also plans on releasing threads every new week. He said that interested applicants should reach out through his DM to get them plugged in.
      f. Notion Admin (Trewkat):
      Trewkat updated notion pages in the ops guild for writers, publishing and epa pages. She appeals to everyone to update their notion name to their discord name. She also gave advise to everyone who wants to get better at notion to take the ninja notion course.
