How to make appear a L2 Token on your Wallet.

We're seeing more projects being built on Layer 2 Blockchains, such as Polygon (MATIC), and you might need to import Social Tokens created/sent through Polygon to see them appear in your Wallet. Here's a quick step-by-step tutorial on how to do it. Enjoy 🔥

Before starting, make sure to have a Crypto Wallet and have a basic understanding of Layer 2 Blockchains.

Step 1 - Go on your Metamask extension, Sign-in, then click on "Ethereum Mainnet" button as shown in the image below.

Step 3 - Then click on "Custom RPC", as highlighted below.

Step 4 - Fill out the boxes with the information below and click save. Network Name: Matic Mainnet New RPC URL: https://rpc-mainnet.maticvigil.com ChainID: 137 Symbol: MATIC Block Explorer URL: https://explorer.matic.network

Step 5 - Now that you've imported Polygon to MetaMask, select the "Matic Mainnet Network" at the top of the pop-up and then click on "Import a Token" at the bottom.

Step 6 - Add the address of the Token you want to import under "Token Contract Address" and click "Add Custom Token". Here's for example the $ELIOT Contract Address: 0xB83a45Bbb5699ae47B39c32B20A145b28B446fCa
