1. The Why

Make marketable surface area for DAO products and provide a home for all the guilds to live. The Bankless DAO website is primarily a tool to provide surface area to all Bankless DAO products and DAO culture. By giving surface area and places to live to all Bankless products, we lower the threshold for viable participation in the effective furthering of the DAO. 

A decentralized autonomous organization that acts as a steward of the Bankless Movement progressing the world towards a future of greater freedom.

To onboard as many additional members as possible and to turn them into engaged members of the community, attracting new talent to the DAO.

To establish new and cement existing connections and partnerships both in the crypto and traditional worlds.

Create marketing channels that will drive on-chain revenue.

Reduce the barriers to helping the cause

Make good products; give them good homes

Find ways to reward people who promote our products

2. The What

Some preliminary thoughts on what could be apart the DAO website. 

At the initial stages of the website, we'll need to give the developers guild some space to get the foundations of the website ready to go. It's too early for different guilds to ping the developers guild with what they want. Instead, while the Developers Guild, Project Managers, and Design Team get off of the ground, each individual guild needs to come to a consensus on how they want their guild to manifest on the website, and what its goal is. There's no rush on this, so each guild needs to take their time and generate reasonable, specific requests that will ultimately go to project managers to liaison with the dev guild.

Bankless is a movement for pioneers seeking liberation from the tyranny of the traditional financial system. Going Bankless means adopting decentralized, permissionless, and censorship-resistant technology. Through these means we will achieve financial self-sovereignty, security, and prosperity.  “To help the world go bankless.” and “To onboard ONE BILLION PEOPLE to the decentralized economic and relational ecosystem”.

3. The When

Assign the roadmap item to the appropriate reviewer(s). Mark the spec In Review in the Docs database. Oh, and ... let's work on the

Make sure we loop in the right stakeholders, including the design and dev guild. Here are the various roles and skills needed to produce the Bankless DAO website: 🙋
