Call for Nominations: Executive Director

Location: Remote Status: Part-time Support: $20,000 USD fellowship

Standards work in DAOstar is proceeding well, as is core engineering work to support EIP-4824. However, DAOstar One the roundtable has not yet found its niche, which is a missed opportunity because with 70+ key organizations from the DAO ecosystem it could be an invaluable resource—e.g. promoting more education, setting up mechanisms for collaboration and coordination, and organizing big events that no single organization can or wants to do.

That’s why we’re looking to bring on a leader in the DAO ecosystem to serve as the inaugural executive director of a DAO foundation that will inherit DAOstar One. We are looking for someone who:

has deep passion and context on DAOs,

is respected by the DAO community,

believes that public goods are essential to the long-term success of DAOs,

can articulate a compelling vision for the foundation as an essential contributor to the whole ecosystem.

The executive director will work closely with other DAO and Web3 leaders, the member organizations of DAOstar One, and the current standards and technical leads of DAOstar to define the direction of DAOstar and the wider DAO ecosystem.
