What was your favorite part of the lesson and why?

My favorite part of the lesson was sharing our proposals and our ideas.

Actually seeing the discussion platform in person as I finally got to a glimpse of the usefulness of the technology firsthand.

My favorite part of the lesson was learning about DAO and it's uses. I have never really learned about DAO till today and I became really interested in learning more.

What do you think are the benefits of using a decentralized system for governance?

I think a benefit is getting the individuals opinions on topics we believe are important.

Everyone has a voice and no one can suppress that, no one will be put down.

I feel like the benefits of a decentralized system for governance would be that there will be more voices heard and opinions to consider from the people.

Did you have any difficulties using the discussion platform during the guided practice?

Yes: 0%

What did you like or dislike about it?

I think there should be a system where students can specifically talk to other students, like a friending system or discord server.

I really like the feature to add proposals. I think we are able to hear more student opinions about school.

Do you feel like you learned something new about governance and decentralized systems?

Yes: 100%

Do you think decentralizing schools is a good idea? Why or why not?

yes i think its a good idea so we can address individuals of the school's ideas. The students are affected by any decision made by administration and is therefore it is important to decentralize it.

Yes because issues that haven't been addressed have a chance to shine though and get attention to it.

I personally believe that there is a benefit to a decentralized school system, we are able to give students a sense of independence and voice to their opinions about schools. However, I do also see a reason why it is not a good idea. Students might need a structure and rules to keep students in check when they could misbehave.

What would you change or improve about the lesson if you were to teach it to others?

There's nothing I would change but try to speak in more slang so it's easier for them to understand.

I believe there isn't anything I would want to change to improve the lesson because the order of the lesson really helped me understand DAO better.
