s3 kickoff urgent needs
  • Bo AFK from Thursday to Saturday next week
    • need Ernest to take over guild call on Thursday
    • propose we use Wednesday “onbaording meeting” to accomplish some of the following
      • wed onboarding
      • thurs -
      • - Gov and open work
    • CC updates — if Guild Updates, then Ernest to speak
      • what to highlight? hype & LFG
S3 Priorities
1/ affirming mission & vision specifically for the guild
  • ensure all the docs reflect that mission & vision & expectations
  • update Genesis Doc to become Constitution
    • Trim the fat, as necessary
    • Add mission & vision, if missing
    • Add Talent Scout Role
    • Organize the Ninjas by Guild (Ninja = Guild Liaison)
      • identify who our key liaisons are in each Guild
      • define their responsibilities
        • ensure we know what products & services they offer
        • ensure they know what we’re working on (on their behalf)
        • improve cross-guild communication
        • report on works-in-progress
      • Get them into Sobol
      • Inititiate projects that we’ve uncovered (do the handoff)
    • Add Ops-comp’d role: DAOL cartographer
2/ organize Notion (c.f. Research Guild)

  • gate all above pages open access below
3/ re-establish culture
  • agenda-driven; promote the mission (relationships with DAOs)
  • focused on activities that matter
    • identify action items well - who what when
    • identify what folks want to commit to doing
  • crisp talking points
  • help get our team members unstuck, where possible
    • identify stuck points
    • move bigger rocks offline
      • mentor folks on how to use resource docs to move rocks
  • standards for meetings:
    • agenda prepared in advance
      • assign note-taker(s) 1 week before [could we have a Whip as a compensated role?]
      • right after meeting, create next meeting’s notes
      • reminders throughout the week to enter items into the agenda
    • Bo & Ernest go on-camera; encourage others to do so
      • more human interface: more trust & transparency
    • Begin with reminders: mission, values, activities that matter

    • Draw attention to movements in the CRM
      • everyone needs to get comfy with the CRM
