good you did the introduction - it eases people into the idea

also great that you introduced the idea of a retrospective

great that you asked people to drill down on their feedback

i think this is a good way to get people speaking - which makes them feel more open and also allows others courage to speak

it was good you directed people towards action items

in general calling out action items as they come up is a good practice

the time was a bit of an issue - you need to keep people talking, but also move them forward. sometimes you need to cut off a conversation or person to get things moving forward

This process felt really valuable. We ended up going long because the discussion kept going, but I think we identified some really good opportunities for improvement. As a facilitator, Hypolithe was very open-minded and impartial while reviewing our sticky notes and he led us through each idea together. Overall, I'm really glad we did this exercise. One thing to improve would have been to line up someone to record the session beforehand. I was able to cover us with no heads-up this time, but that's because we're the AV Guild! :P

Always useful. Maybe sending out a "thought prompt" reminder would get participants ideas flowing sooner. Easy to forget about the Miro board until day-of! Appreciate PM Guild.
