- HQ wants zero cost engagement but continue to be beneficiaries from the DAO
- If groups are choosing to not use the brand name, then we don’t need to have a legal entity
- The value of the DAO is dependant on the banklessbrand, but has a standalone identity
- HQ does not have monopoly on pursuing the bankless mission
- The DAO members owe a lot to HQ
- Members feel that the mission statement may not entirely represent their sentiment
- What if we can be more specific about the impact and adapt the size to our purpose
- What if the DAO’s purpose is to keep a check on HQ’s values alignment?
- How do we agree on the mission of the DAO
- The DAO has helped people find Jobs/start their own gigs in crypto → Can this be the purpose of the DAO?
- The DAO upskills contributors and gets them the Crypto Skills needed to fuel the crypto jobs economy
- Fully retroactive grants system can help the DAO be funded efficiently
- Likeminded people pursuing the mission > token
- Compensation is important to get people paid
- Seeking sustainability lead the DAO to its current state
- DAOs create other forms of capital instead of financial capital
- Compensation is a tricky topic, but we have enough for some costs
- In the future, we can relay more on PGF
- Today, bDAO has PMF only for people who don’t need incentives
- If we can do the above, we can start to get more sustainable loop of revenue
- the DAO went overboard with the headless brand thing and that may have sidetracked us
- → identify the basics → build on top of it
- Possible org model changes to be made → may disturb some people
- A group of people representing the change is potentially easier to digest
- Offer broad expectations and tone them to adapt the new org model
