Organizational Updates
S01
  • Lots of folk are on guest passes
    • Consider upgrading people to L1 - How does it look for non-full members to be offering our services?
    • Get up to speed before going outbound to represent the DAO to other DAOs
  • For compensation, all funds must be distributed by Sept 27
    • Budget due Sept 20 for S02
  • Coordinape for S01
    • Originally set up at 200K BANK
    • Some members feel bizdev hasn't done enough to warrant a Coordinape yet, and it should be benched until next season.
    • Consider benching Coordinape and divvying up 100K BANK evenly among those bizdev members that have contributed to the BD Guild for >6 weeks
    • Bo to set up poll for bizdev members who have been contributing for >6 weeks to the Guild
  • 38k to Grendel and 58k to Viking for retro-pay
  • 28k each to Bo and Viking for Sept Roles
  • 10k Bounties
 
S02 Budget:
Two roles established:
  • 84k BANK per role for the season
    • 84k * 3 or 4 = 252-336,000 Bank
  • Bounties: 25,000 BANK
  • Coordinape: 150,000 BANK (End of Season Distro)
  • Consider 2 additional roles: Engineer & TBD (Concierge? - for managing guests from other DAOs)
    • Engineer coordinates between ninjas & the Guilds
      • organize and coordinate talent pools that can help us develop sellable products & services;
      • internal survey of DAO projects to figure out where we are across the org (in terms of product & service development) and the gaps between where we are and where we want to be
      • understand if/how a project can become revenue-generating
      • once we understand the status of projects, we can coordinate the talent
 
Current Issues:
  • How do we structure the guild & organize the talent?
  • How do we sell the stuff we have already? (e.g., the $BED)
    • Note that the BED team doesn't need any help from us except to funnel more sales reps to them
 
Channel definitions:
Bizdev-General : where we make most of our announcements and all-guild notices, including introductions
BD-Opportunities: where we talk about leads, opportunities, etc.
Note: use threads to minimize clutter
 
Questions:
How can we best ramp up?
  • show up, volunteer to leap on a project
  • the BED is ready for sales reps
 
Action Items:
Bo: Governance form RE: budget allocation (100k divided amongst anyone here >6 weeks)
