Timeline for Guild Role Elections
Week 10: Nominations/decide if we're doing soft consensus Week 11: Vote Week 12: Role holders for the next season elected Week 13-16: New role holders have time for "on the job" training with current role holders
 
Step-by-step process description
  1. Only active members (@PM Guild - active members Discord role) as per the time when the vote is announced are eligible for for applying to the role
  1. When an election is announced, there will be a nomination period of one week followed by a voting period of one week
  1. During the nomination period…
    1. The member coordinating the elections will create threads in #🌲pm-governance for each role up for election
    2. Nominations for each role must be placed in the corresponding thread. Anyone can nominate a @PM Guild - active members for a role.
    3. Nominees for roles must provide a candidate statement about why they want the role and what they will do with it
  1. During the voting period…
    1. The member coordinating the elections will create a sesh poll in #🌲pm-governance for each role up for election, listing all of the eligible nominees with the following parameters:
      1. one-person, one-vote
      2. only @PM Guild - active members may vote
      3. vote are open (not anonymous)
  1. After the voting period closes, the member coordinating the elections will announce the new role holders.
