🌐 Concept of the online platform: (2min)
If the respondent does not know ANYTHING about web3:
Web1 = old internet, static websites, Web2 = internet of social media, Web3 = internet of blockchain and open source
Blockchain = ability to host information on-line in a decentralised way, using cryptography and allowing new versions of ownership and organisation. Core values include transparency and censorship resistance.
Platform Concept:
A community building technology platform that integrates learning with web3 governance. In this platform you can set up a governance system, which allows: members to discuss and refine their ideas and needs, and turn them into proposals to be voted on. The potential usage is to allow communities to self-organize, debate and refine their ideas so they can be enacted. This platform would also allow building shared projects, such as raising and managing funds, access to a web3 learning library, connections with other communities to learn best practices and more. Finally this would be a community owned and controlled platform.
  1. What do you think about this concept? Why would I change when I am satisfied with the current tech solutions. You need to convenience me
  1. Would you see value in a platform that allows students to self-organize, develop proposals to be voted on within the school? Cannot see the value at this point
  1. If students had control over a platform for the student community, what is you initial opinion of such a proposal? Afraid of what would be discussed without being well moderated
  1. Would you see value in a platform that allows students to self-organize, share ideas with students from other schools and regions?
  1. Do you think such a concept might have value within your teaching community in the school?
  1. Do you think such concept might have value within your teachers union?
  1. Would you a value in having an umbrella platform where both students and teachers are allowed to self-organize, create and discuss proposals within the school
  1. Do you have an interest in learning more about web3
  1. If a platform like this could help students to raise funds (either through donations or entrepreneurial activities), what would be your opinion?
🪢 Wrap-up:
15. Is there anything else you’d like to share about this concept or your experiences with school projects?
  1. Do you have any questions or concerns about the platform that you’d like to discuss?
