Description / What is your motivation?
"Synapsis.Network first stage aims to launch a knowledge and education platform to bridge decentralized technologies and the grassroots. More essentially, those related to DeGov (identity, UBI, DAOs, etc.). Paired with resources on self-sustainability and tools for offline actions. Both geography and internet-based communities will be taken into account by design.
Further stages aim to be more technical, striving to contribute to the emergence of democracy legos, and to support scaling local governance and the cyber-physical commons. Our vision is for Synapsis.Network to be the interoperability layer for governance." - from our Gitcoin Rd7 grant description.
How are we going to get to Mars if we don't solve governance first? And if we still do it, who is going to be left behind then? Let's design the building blocks of DeGov and self-sustainability needed for humanity to be a solarpunk interplanetary species!

Team Story
I (Dan) am on a lifelong quest to crowd/open-source nations. And I had the privilege of being born in Venezuela, the son of three generations of political exiles. My conviction is that the future of governance can't be nurtured exclusively in obscure Discord channels, but must also tap into the grassroot movements of the global south. My most personal work is rooted in exponential tech, regeneration and radical participatory design. I intend to work (slowly now) towards weaving the network to build Synapsis Network and pilot it in LATAM.

Love to talk with folks interested in governance in and beyond the blockchain-space, anyone into regeneration, politics, social impact, poets that want to debate post-nations and how DeGov will power the expansion of humanity as an interplanetary species.
This has the status of paused pet project for now, would love to hit play.
