Welcome to the fourth dedicated meeting of Decentralized Law. We are happy to have everyone! Hirokennelly is the coordinator. He encouraged people to share the recent issue.
  1. Our last issue was released yesterday and its getting a lot of good views. Please share the same. The next issue ships on 16th.
  1. Articles: Hiro wants to fit in more pieces which we couldn’t publish in feb 2 issue. TaxPanda finished his article. CoysRus (Syndicate article) and Lorena’s (Article summarizing regulation in Latin America) articles will be published in the next issue.
  1. Interview (Feb 16): We will be interviewing Ian Place from Burrata. Eagle said the topic can be digital identity and reputational aspects on the blockchain associated with one’e digital entity. We can even associate it with NFTs & web3. lawPanda spoke about various facets about these topic.
  1. Interview (1st Issue of March): Eagle stated that we should interview someone from Kleros and the topic should be: ‘blockchain dispute resolution’.
  1. Articles for 1st Issue of March:
    1. Lion: India Taxation
    2. Eagle: Article on Stable Coins: Comparative Analysis EU and America (Eg. Usdt, USDC etc.)
    3. One Article is Pending.
  1. Later Issues:
    1. Cheetah: Antitrust and Crypto
New-Micro Role
  1. Hirokennelly stated that a new mico-role is being created to collate 10-12 news articles for issue so that we can pick those to summaries.
  1. CoysRus will volunteered to take the new micro-role. Eagle said MDlawyer can share that role and cover EU.
  1. Cheetah suggested India summary on latest finance bill
Choosing the Language style for DL
  1. Hiro stated that he is not sure about the American style of language. CoysRus prefers that we use British English as that’s more popular.
  1. Cheetah stated he prefers British English.
  1. Eagle states that American English should be better as most popular global Journals are in American English.
  1. Taxpanda suggested that maybe we can allow people to write in their own writing style. However, later when he heard CoysRus he agreed with her.
  1. Lion thinks that Author’s should be allowed to publish in their own style of writing.
  1. Rotorless stated that we should leave it to experts.
  1. CoysRus states that we should have a single style of writing.
