Algirdas Atkočaitis

Algirdas started his career as a Front-End Developer but, since then, he has specialized in QA. He was Lead Software QA Engineer with Danske Bank before becoming QA Lead at Argyle.

At Danske Bank, Algirdas worked with the MobilePay product which is the most popular payment solution in Denmark. He was responsible for QA strategy improvements, finding the best tools and processes to assure product quality, and working with all teams to understand the biggest obstacles and challenges. His main activities and responsibilities included QA strategy creation, QA management and reporting, and QA staff management.

Algirdas was Senior QA Engineer / Chapter lead at ohpen for over two years. He was responsible for building quality assurance strategy for core cloud banking solution across the whole company. His responsibilities at Ohpen included building test automation solutions, creating test management processes, hiring other QA engineers, training and knowledge sharing across all dev teams, non-functional testing and automation, and many more QA related work to improve product quality and improve workflow.

At Gfk, he was a QA engineer for seven months on one of the scrum teams where they worked with big data and market analysis tools. On his team, he was responsible for creating a QA strategy, building test automation framework, and building performance tests.

Before Gfk, Algirdas worked as a Senior QA Engineer for Backbase, Senior Test Automation Specialist for Swedbank, and in Quality Assurance for Adform.

He has a Bachelor of Computer Programming from Vilniaus University of Applied sciences
