How do I create a hackathon event?
- Go to https://gitcoin.co/_administrationdashboard/hackathonevent/
- Add the required information.
- The slug is the only thing you can't change after you've created it, since that will affect Mailchimp lists and registration answer data.
- All other assets and descriptions will be provided as we talk to sponsors.
- Upload the logo as PNGs or SVGs.
- Upload the banner as a PNG.
- The background color denotes the background of the left hand logo, which sometimes might be slightly offset. Usually it's black or white. You can also use the a pixel tool to figure out the exact hex code so there's no discontinuities.
- Text color is also in hex code, this is usually opposite of color of the banner. You can use good judgement for this.
