How to buy a Social Token on Uniswap
If you want to buy a Social Token on Uniswap, you'll need a Wallet (tutorial here) and some ETH (tutorial here). The process go buying a Social Token is pretty straightforward and shouldn't take you more than 10min. Without further ado, let's learn how to do it! 💪
1/ Go on Uniswap and click on the "Connect to a Wallet" Button on the upper-right corner of your screen. Depending on your Wallet, you can choose from different options (as shown in the image below). If you have a Rainbow Wallet, click on WalletConnect and scan the QR code via your Rainbow Wallet Application.
2/ You can now purchase any token listed on the platform with any token you have in your Wallet. As shown in our previous tutorial, you should now have Ethereum ($ETH) in your Wallet. We will therefore purchase (swap) a Social Token with Ethereum. Select the $ETH token (the one you want to sell) and select the amount you want to swap.
3/ Select now the Social Token you want to buy by clicking on the "Select a Token" button (see picture above), then selecting it or searching it in the dropdown menu (see image below).
4/ Once you have selected the token you want to swap (in our example $ETH), set the Social Token you want to purchase (in our example $FF) and put the amount you want to buy, you can simply click on the "Swap" button.
5/ You should see all the information related to the Swap appear. If everything looks OK, then continue by simply clicking on Confirm Swap.
6/ If you're connected to Uniswap with your Rainbow Wallet, you'll have to confirm the transaction on your phone. Simply go on the Rainbow app and click on the "Confirm" button. If you have a Metamask Wallet, confirm the transaction by clicking on the Metamask plugin (upper right corner of your screen). You've just purchased your first Social Token. Congrats! 🔥
