Memepalooza was a collaborative jam session and celebration of meme lords and great memes on the topic of public goods, web3 and the values of Gitcoin DAO. It took place in the DAOs discord server.

The name Memepalooza was chosen during one of the early jam sessions and was only one of many options discussed. 

Traditionally there was an opening ceremony with Ed’s famous trumpet song, which was later shortened, because of the length of the song.

As the event grew larger, other DAOs with similar values partnered up and joined the jam sessions, as a result the memes produced cover a wide range of subjects.
