What did we do last week?
- Further discussions on Media Nodes Protocol
- this is on hold until Project Coordinator role filled...
- Discussions started for Project Coordinator role
- Began as Cross Guild role between AV and Design
- Proposal -
- Probably better as single guild role, both able to be filled by same person
- Better for allocating guild funds
- Many projects will be either AV or Design specific
- Passed Talent Coordinator role - Vote taken and role to be filled by NFThinker
- Secretary Role
- Started Layer 0 design competition
- Initial request by David Hoffman for 1:1 and 16:9 designs for new podcast
- Invitations for designs posted in #job-postings
- Started Onboard Coordination Brand Discovery for logo design competition (Grendel, Reinis, Jenny, NFThinker)
- Brand Discovery worksheet
- Onboard Moodboard
- Introduced Participation POAPs for design competitions
- Each entrant gets 1 POAP for participating
- Each design competition has a unique POAP
- Every POAP earned can be entered into an end of season raffle
- We ran a poll and consensus suggests 3 winners of the raffle, prize of BANK equal to 1st, 2nd, 3rd (amounts TBD)
- NOTE: there was a call on Sunday 8/8/21 where Cart.Collector opposed the use of competitions for discovering designs. This is something we will need to discuss further.

- capable of making creative decisions within parameters of each design project
- person with good visual eye for style
- would be good to see portfolio of this person's art
- Selection of this person would be a longer process than other roles

- Ability to refuse work
- Keep designs consistent with guidelines
- Wage could be higher as it's less time intensive but a very valuable role
- frogmonkee - beware of structuring the role in a way that gives the art director too much control - role should not have unilateral decision making power

Design Guild Portfolio -
chrisf.crypto has got a confirmation from devs of the website, that portfolios of design guild will be included in the next version. We can highlight our designs for Bankless and our work will be on full show to the world. We can have different aspects of design on the website with links to everyone's online portfolio for potential clients to choose who they would like to work with
