Gitcoin Glossary

Systematically assembling vocabularies used within gitcoindao into a Notion

Target Audience: Folks onboarding to Gitcoin from Web2 or within Gitcoin but working in different areas

Proposed System to assemble vocabulary while recognizing that each work stream likely has it’s own lingo:
a) create google form or other data collector to allow for crowdsourcing of glossary.
b) identify workstream leads,
c) Send out form to all work stream leads and ask them to distribute to the team to fill it in
d) select highest-quality definitions or spot common points between participants to compile, condense, and simplify definitions + acronyms
e) conduct interviews with leads
I) ask them for commonly used vocabulary and definitions
ii) compile interview answers, and form data, into a single document/Notion
f) recommend removing unneeded vernacular which could be replaced with simple language that everyone already knows
g) Should a work stream not know what language they use in a way that is out-of-the-ordinary it may be helpful to shadow them for a meeting or three to make a list through observation
