  • untie assessment/feedback on a monthly basis from compensation
  • the variable component needs to be like a bonus/celebration - otherwise it impacts people’s self worth, they compare themselves to others, it is super painful
  • for transparent compensation we need to create the space for that and facilitate it - otherwise we are opening a lot of conversations
