- untie assessment/feedback on a monthly basis from compensation
- the variable component needs to be like a bonus/celebration - otherwise it impacts peopleβs self worth, they compare themselves to others, it is super painful
- for transparent compensation we need to create the space for that and facilitate it - otherwise we are opening a lot of conversations
- they tested the different salaries and even if people got 2x than the other model they were unhappy because comparatively they received less than others
- important for framing to be positive - anything on the scores is only a bonus
- might do assessment/feedback on a quarterly basis and then delay the impact in the next quarter
- they cannot sell their product to companies that are not aware of decentralization - struggle with finding enough companies
- conventional organisations struggle with understanding the problem they are solving
- technology is irrelevant, trust is relevant - blockchain is only relevant in low trust environment
- there is a lot we can do with communicating and mitigating PR (or legal) risk
- he would zoom out and look at it from a business perspective - do small iterations to move forward and step out of our own hypotheses
