How to engage with people on our social media platforms

In order to increase our organic growth on social media, during the social media call on the 28th of September the social media coordinator, content manager with the social media micro role holders decided that the micro role holders should have the flexibility and freedom to engage with people on the bDAO social media platforms.

It could be via DM (direct message), via simple commenting on posts, or even replying to comments on our posts in a respectful manner.

The social media accounts that we will be taking into consideration are Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok.

The goals we have in mind with this idea is

More organic growth.

More visibility for our social media accounts.

Chance to get to know people from web3 and attract talent to the DAO.

Chance to get campaign requests.

The types of engagement allowed are:

Commenting on their posts

Replying to comments on our posts

Via DM(Direct message)

Liking their posts/stories

All of the above engagement will be done in a respectful manner keeping in mind the reputation of Bankless DAO.

Things to keep in mind which should NOT be done

Use of disrespectful and vulgar language

Re-sharing of their content without the prior approval of the Marketing guild via soft consensus or even the social media coordinator

Spammers usually send out anonymous links via DM in order to get access to our account and therefore no such unknown, non-trusted links will be clicked upon without prior reaffirmation of the source (if they can be trusted or not)

Rules to follow for the micro role holders

If at any point the micro role holder does not know what to reply and how to reply, they can take the help of the members in the marketing guild by posting it in the social media thread of MG.

The issue can also be brought up in the following social media call and the same will be discussed on how to tackle such situations.

The micro role holders must reply and communicate naturally and not like bots so that the algorithm does not mistake the micro role holder for a BOT🤖.

The micro role holders will only engage with pages of bankless HQ and other bankless pages and not any random page unless the bankless DAO is doing a campaign with that company.

The micro role holders can engage with new pages provided they are legitimate and are providing quality web3 content and is in the best interest of the Bankless DAO (after a soft consensus from the MG)
