  • Project Funding
    • Should Projects be included in the Seasonal Snapshot
Discussion Item 1 - Guild/Dept leftover funds & stablecoin balances
  • Guilds - 100% funded by the DAO to provide and upskill talent to the DAO, Guilds themselves are not revenue generating. Revenue generating initiatives should be broken off in the form of a project.
  • Clarification of core functionality
    • Should Guilds that hold stable/DeFi tokens send them back to the multisig?
      • Guilds provide talent for the DAO.
      • Are core component for the DAO
       
  • Departments - 100% funded by the DAO to provide a service that is necessary for the DAO, Departments themselves are not revenue generating. Revenue generating initiatives should be broken off in the form of a project.
    • Should Departments that hold stable/DeFi tokens send them back to the multisig?
      • Depts should not be self sovereign

Some value may be in the tooling/service offered.

Links - As long as people take BANK for their work and have talent coming into the DAO
AAJ - If we can’t meet Maslow’s hierarchy of needs for our contributors, they will leave … Can’t hold high value talent. If the human contributors needs aren’t met, they won’t stay.
Design a system that is as sustainable as possible
Iced : layers GC acting as investment group and issuance group, token challenges, contributor rewards - what does it mean to work at bDAO - how valuable is that?
  • How do we get and keep high quality contributors?
    • How do we determine what is valuable?
  • The value is in the mission and the people
Seasonal Funding - generate some efficiencies around the process
Optimistic approach going forward - GC has 1st say, ones that are unclear would then be put

bDAO is either for those that can live on the BANK token (price conversion)
or
Don’t need BANK to live off of
 
Could GC begin to allocate a portion of non-BANK assets based on KPI’s?
  • 8% monthly calibrated on a time basis gives a budget for a year
  • Reclamation
  • Locking mechanism
Should GC distribute all funding/issue all funds from the route vault (other than funding for GC)
 
Anything that former GC members feel was left off
Communication between GC members leaving and coming on
  • AAJ continuity
  • Links, IcedCool: Retrospective
  • Clarity on term limits
  • Ask the DAO how are we doing/what would you like to see the GC doing (SHOULD THIS SHOULD BE A KPI)
