Alright so as regards the onboarding process, here are a few ideas I've been thinking about and want to share so we can take a look and find out what we can work with.
- A detailed welcome guide: I feel it would help if a comprehensive guide that provides an overview of the guild's purpose, values, and goals, is designed. Something like a cheat sheet for the guild and that new members can be presented with when getting into the guild, as well as clear instructions on how to navigate the guilds pages and access its resources.
With the above in mind, I'm thinking we could have work sessions for new members to take them through our Notion page and have them understand how to work around Notion in case they are also new to using the tools. These work sessions would provide a hands-on learning experience and help new members feel more comfortable using Notion for the project management tasks that they might take up. During the sessions, experienced members could share best practices and answer any questions that new members may have. Overall, I believe that these work sessions would be a valuable addition to our onboarding process and help to set new members up.
- Also, educational resources - which are being worked on is great, and we could also try to provide other materials if possible such as webinars, tutorials, and previous practical use case scenarios of web 3 PM, to help new members learn about web 3 technology and how it can be applied practically.
- Furthermore, we could try out gamification techniques and incorporate crew 3 and have a reward system for members with highest aptitude or so, meaning that we could have weekly challenges for new members coming in and have them take the PM courses and also do several tests for them to ensure that they're always on their toes and earn while they learn to make the process merrier.
