Bio

Hernan Di Giorgi was a Full Stack Engineer for iGreator before becoming a Scanner Engineer for Argyle.
At iGreator, Hernan managed WordPress VPS with the provisioning done using Vultr servers. The sales server was coded using the slightest modified version of Blesta. He used Scala, ScalaJs, Nginx, PHP7, Apache, PageSpeed, WordPress, and Ansible.
He was an Erlang Backend Programmer at Lambda Class, a software company specializing in Data Science, distributed systems, and functional programming. He was an Erlang RTB developer for Kubient - Center Point Media and an Elixir/Phoenix web developer for a local newspaper.
For Kubient – Center Point Media, he removed crashes and timeouts when the server was under high load (1k req/seg). This enabled Kubient to scale and acquire more clients. He fixed concurrency problems between components of bidding systems and optimized the bidder to support a higher load from 2k req/seg to 17 req/seg with 80% CPU usage. That reduced the AWS server costs at least 4 times.
He also debugged and fixed live production erlang servers.
Hernan's technologies include PHP, WordPress, Java, Scala, Eclipse, PostgreSQL, HTML, Windows, Git, Maven, and Python. He is also adept at Erlang, VPS, and Real-Time Bidding.
Hernan has a Full Stack Developer Certification from freeCodeCamp and is working on his Bachelor of Computer Engineering, Computer Science from Universidad de Morón.
