The Aera Force Community
The Following Page outlines proposed aspects of the Aera Force community, and how non-accredited investors can plug in and build the future of the movement. As the community grows, we will continue to iterate on this page.
Our goal is to build a foundational structure that leads to increased decentralisation over time.
Â
The Fund will be collectively managed by members of the Aera Force DAO, who will be able to vote on where to allocate capital. Day to day fund operations will be managed by the Core Team, which will include members from the fund’s GPs as well as community members taking up specific roles.
DAO Members
Members of the DAO will fall into three major archetypes.
- Investors: Aera Force DAO investors are accredited investors who have completed a KYC and accreditation process to verify their elligibilty to invest. Investors recieve a financial interest in the syndicate investments proportional to their investment and voting rights.
- GP’s: The Fund’s GPs will oversee day-to-day operations of the fund, and serve as “leads” to the legal entities, companies, and partners the DAO is working with.
- Aera Force Champions: Aera Force Champions are non-accredited investors who still participate in the movement by leading the DAO community playing multiple roles. These will comprise of sourcing deals, completing diligence bounties, researching new fields and approaches, expanding our online presence, and contributing to our overall goal of a carbon neutral future. The design of how and where the community and Champions plug in, will be developed collaboratively over the coming weeks and months.
Â
DAO Teams / Roles
It is anticipated that Aera Force Teams will form as small groups of Aera Force Champions and Investors working to support the community. Every DAO team will have a GP member serving as a touchpoint, but not necessarily “leading” the team itself. Every team will report to the broader community, and have the opportunity to earn bounties and Carry Share for contributing.
Â

Getting involved In Teams:
To create a hyper engaged and impactful community furthering Aera Force’s mission, the Champions will collectively curate and participate in an onboarding experience.
Â
As the community forms over the coming months, how members are onboarded and integrated will be co-developed. An example on-boarding may flow as follows:
Â
Step 1 - Champions join discord and decides their role within the community based on available teams, expertise, and interest
Step 2 - Champion then is introduced to existing members within their assigned team and completes onboarding message and invitation to next team call
Step 3 - Champion is paired or connected with a Guide to get up-to-speed on existing processes related to assigned team / role and be a contact for questions
Step 4 - Champion decides what scope they can take on and how much time they would like to dedicate to the team they’ve assigned themselves too
Step 5 - Champion begins to contribute to their assigned team’s role and contributions are tracked and rewarded from team leads
Â
Community Member Rewards
Community rewards will be defined and shaped as the roles evolve and take shape. For now, the following are proposed:
- ETH bounties for Pre-Screen and full Due Diligence Research from a Community earn-pool representing 5% of capital raised
- Carry Share for community functions including Scouting opportunities (Carry is explained here).
