What is the purpose of IMN?
  • To help existing non-English media channels grow their audience and work towards being an official media node.
  • To help establish and grow new non-English media channels.
 
Roles:
  1. IMN Coordinator (8h/week) funded by the Guild
  • Assist language champions with applying for grants
  • Facilitate discussion between language champions on a regular basis to tackle roadblocks and share best case practices
  • Maintain a repository of IMN contacts, reach, growth metrics & a copy of the latest monthly report.
  • Facilitate the development & maintenance of a framework for new language nodes to join the network, build an audience and generate revenue
 
  1. Language Champion (Funded by grants)
  • Be the point of contact between bDAO and the local language community
  • Deploy strategies to start/grow follower base and subscribers for the local language content
  • Report to bDAO/Guild on monthly progress
  • Make sure that all content and local contributor activities are aligned with the rest of the DAO.
What is an IMN?
  • A non-English Bankless channel that spreads the message of the Bankless movement to all parts of the world through digital media tools such as (but not limited to) social media, substack, youtube, podcasts
  • An IMN is an aspiring Media Node that lacks the funding or the audience necessary to qualify to be an official media node of the Bankless DAO
IMN Responsibilities
  • To provide a monthly report which includes a summary of the activities conducted, key follower and subscriber metrics as well as plans for the next month to continue receiving monthly funding
  • Ensure that the content produced and distributed aligns with the bDAO mission and values
  • Assist the growth of bDAO by offering to translate newsletters or other content such as (but not limited to) website, academy app etc.
  • Have a social media channel
IMN Grants
  • All IMNs are eligible to apply for a max weekly grant of 5000BANK/week (Max for S2: 60000)
  • In order to ensure reciprocity between bDAO and the IMN, the IMN will follow revenue share policies as stated in the Media Node document
KPIs
The IMN Grants will be evaluated at the end of each month based on #Growth in subscribers and #Growth in followers by the IMN coordinator.
