Jeremy's Personal Social Media Strategy as Gitcoin Passport Product Lead
Context
As of 2023-11-29 - we haven’t focused on Jeremy’s personal brand much but it’s worth revisiting this.
Objective: To leverage Jeremy's personal social media platform to provide unique and valuable insights related to Gitcoin Passport, without overlapping with the official Gitcoin Passport account.
Key kinds of content to post:
- Behind-the-Scenes “Building Gitcoin Passport” Stories: Sharing experiences and stories from the development process, challenges faced, and how they have been overcome. This will provide followers with unique insights into the creation of Gitcoin Passport, making the product more relatable and trustworthy.
- Call to action to Jeremy: Document case studies of engineering and product excellence, where you/the team identify a blocker or opportunity, and how you went about successfully solving/building it.
- Industry Trends & Observations: Drawing from Jeremy's unique vantage point, share non-specific observations and trends in the industry, such as organizations' attitudes towards sybil resistance. This can provoke thought and discussion without divulging sensitive data.
- Call to action to Jeremy: Document trends and observations you have that are organically coming to you through your work as Product Lead. Assume these thoughts are interesting.
- Community Engagement: Posing questions to followers that Jeremy is genuinely interested in hearing responses to. These questions could be retweeted by the official Gitcoin Passport account, expanding reach and sparking wider discussion.
- Call to action to Jeremy: Document real questions that you have that you’d like our Holders, Integrators, and other Sybil hunters etc to answer.
Gary will prompt Jeremy for each kind of content at their 1:1 each week.
Overall, Jeremy's personal social media should enhance the Gitcoin Passport brand by providing unique, behind-the-scenes insights and provoking thoughtful industry discussion.
