Our Bi-Weekly Check-ins (syncs) are update meetings from role holders and any research project updates. Bi-weekly Check-Ins have an open invitation to all bDAO members to attend and to contribute to the building of the Agenda by providing written or verbal updates on research needs, opportunities, and projects. Our Priority Workshops are Kanban Meetings where we discuss, develop plans, and commit to action items. All ACTIVE guild members are invited to attend the priority meetings.

      Meeting Notes
      South wind Update
      The meeting update was given by Vickyone.
      ~ Nothing much as regards new members and their onboarding process. While hoping to see more people in the guild, the South wind is working on their plans and agenda for S8 folks to actively contribute.
      ~ Considering how best to implement the suggestion Oracle made about new joiners to have more folks that contribute actively to projects and the research guild.
      ~Awards will be given in S8 to both active members in the guild and new folks to encourage engagement.
      ~ Working on how best to employ educational content in onboarding new members to learn about research guild and how to perform researches in the guild.
      North Wind Update
      The North wind update was provided by Aloy.
      ~ Coordinape: Coordinape has commenced today for those who filled the coordinape form allocategives. Allocation period starts today and ends on 20th of April. At least 75% of gives should be allocated during the coordinape round.
      ~The North wind office hour holds every Tuesday by 9pm UTC and it'll be nice for folks to come around.
      ~ Upcoming elections and nominations: Elections are around the corner for S8. A nomination period will first come up and the north wind pod will drop details during the week in line with the governance docs. Role holders are reminded that there's no automatic carryover of roles and role holders that want to continue in their current role should reinstate their interest.
      ~ Polygon Multisig: Still working on transferring from polygon multisig which would need gas fees that isn't currently available. Hence, the need to get hold of multisig signers to ensure quick disbursement of funds.
       
      West Wind update
      The West wind update was given by SpiritedF.
      ~Project Updates: No ongoing projects that needs updates on the project side of the notion page.
      ~ The West wind pod is also searching for other projects like the Blabs project with Senad to engage with and members are encouraged to participate in the projects.
      There is also an ongoing search for project representatives for S8 with project heads coming in to disburse informations to the guild members.
       
      ~Latsan further encouraged everyone to join conversations from time to time such as the conversation started by infinitehomie.eth about research. This would encourage role holders to look for more ways to help the guild.
      East Wind Update
      The East wind update was given by ETrinity007
      ~ Learners tasks are still up for members that have not yet applied for it.
      ~ There’s a research request from Daostewards on writing a more detailed rationale for their proposals on notion brought in by jengajojo. Those interested can dm him or indicate their interest in the guild.
      ~ Members were encouraged to drop their thoughts on how(DAOisty - Async First) is going for so as to gather feedbacks on challenges faced from the programme itself.
       
      KingIBK noticed that it's been a while we've had a closing health message and latsan clarified that the available topics for the season (about 6-7) has been completed and he's considering closing the work group or finding additional things for the work group to do.
      A suggestion was raised by Gahbby for more topics to be found instead of closing the work group.
      Due to lack of adequate assistance , getting new topics hasn't been forthcoming, thus Latsan and KingIBK encouraged those interested in contributing to join the work group meeting on Wednesday 8pm UTC.
      ~ As regards the update of the research start-here channel, Latsan clarified that only L2 members can edit the page. SpritedF volunteered to assist with putting the necessary information such as time for the work group meeting and the link to the guild's notion page after getting the needed information from Latsan.
      The meeting came to a close after being seconded by Latsan.
