Bio:
My name is Artem. Born in Moscow, spent 10 years in creative strategy, product marketing and customer research, then studied and worked in the UK — got a degree from the University of Manchester (wrote my MSc thesis about governance in platform co-ops and DAOs), moved to Glasgow and worked remotely for Protein Community as their gov lead. Lived at Newspeak House for a year, it’s a co-living / event space in London for people interested in the intersection of technology and civil society, where I got interested in LLMs and their applications for large-scale human coordination. Since June 2023 I’ve been working on Harmonica, while also contributing to RnDAO community (research and consulting units). Currently based in a very remote place in Georgia, where I live in a community-owned hotel / ecovillage (I’m one of its early investors). I'm passionate about commons, shared ownership and democracy. Inspired by Elinor Ostrom, Michel Bauwens and Nathan Schneider.
What are you working on:
- LLM-powered facilitator bot for Discord communities
- Harmonica facilitates multiplayer sensemaking & deliberation sessions based on S3, Cynefin, Agile, Liberating Structures and other templates
- Harmonica enables teams & communities to create artifacts that require collective intelligence (proposals, agreements, canvases, etc) — and really fast!
