- Sending and receiving tokens (Important: demonstrate)
- Safety measures when browsing the web3
- Student Wallets collection (whitelist)
- Using the Snapshot platform for voting
- Introducing the students to the Discord server for technical support (?)
Lesson plan:
0-10 Review the previous lesson
10-20 Warm up
- Start by asking the students if they know what a physical wallet is and what they use it for.
- Once they have shared their ideas, ask them to imagine that they have some digital money, just like they have physical money in their wallets.
- Then, explain to them that just like they keep their physical money in their wallet, they need a digital wallet to store their digital money. A crypto wallet is like a digital wallet that stores their cryptocurrencies.
- To make the analogy more relatable, use real-life examples. For instance, just as they have different pockets in their physical wallet to store their cash, cards, and other items, a crypto wallet has different compartments (blockchains) for storing different types of cryptocurrencies.
20-45 Creating a wallet on Metamask (demonstration)
45-55 Private and public keys (seed phrase saving)
55-80 Sending and receiving tokens (demonstration)
Explain how they can use their crypto wallet to buy goods and services online, just like they use their physical wallet to buy things in stores.
Remember to tell that different tokens want different blockchains
80-90 Safety measures when browsing web3
