Next steps for Grants Reform
  1. update Seasonal Funding Handbook page
  1. vote (next week? async?) within GC on the updated seasonal funding procedure
  1. make announcement on the forum (before Oct 30)

Project funding
  • consensus that projects will not be included in this seasonal funding round
Guild funding
  • flat rate for guilds - current weekly rate (21 hours)
  • bonus funding round - on snapshot, token-weighted based on BANK
    • amount TBD (links will do some math)
Department funding
  • include a purpose, 1-3 KPIs
  • next step: create a bDIP to get this into the constitution
Who should be able to submit grants?
  • L1 - it’s not a perfect gate, but it will work for our purposes
  • what about unknown people who buy L1 to submit a 4M grant proposal?
    • GC is here to put scrutiny
  • what about those who are looking to earn L1?
    • get an L1 to submit your grant request
