Comments & Questions
Just type here your comments and qustions 😄

Notes during Session
web1: read, web2: read/write, web3: read/write
Sustainabilit part was very interesting
Successful web3 projects will have a successfull product, tokens will be secondary
Very early stage, hard to understand what the different projects are about. We still try to figure it out (this is very exciting)

notion image
Demonstrates what is happening in this moment.

Web1: read, desktop browser access etc
Web2: Social, Mobile-first, cloud-driven
Web3: AI-driven, Decentraliced data architecture, Edge computing

Web3 Projects do often the same things as web2
We are more in web2.5 today
Innovation cycle
Maybe web3 maybe doesn’t need much money from VCs (purpose of token)
Different users will have different needs
There are real world demands that the cyber world creates
In web2 we used adds to make money maybe we will need fees
Most L1 are not profitable (how much transactions do they need to be sustainable)
Cash flow models for web2 —> how to apply to web3 projects?
Challenge for DAO structures - Proposals, predictions, financial palnning (might be treasury management)
Survive to product market fit
Can we build a tokenized system that provides enougth time to equalize opportunities between different actors to make the system healthy

The Ocean Protocol Model doesn’t work in every project.
NEAR Protocol is similar to this one.
Better with more users.
There are no Web3 Projects that have tokenized protocol revenue demand/revenue reaches the expanses. They often overfund their projects with hope to push their token.

What about the sustainability loop for projects no on l1 level.
Token provides incentives, utility has to be put in.
The term shareholder is different in web3 (related to web2 world)

Democratization of Ownership/rights etc.

Where does TE fit —> they need someone to curate all this (innovation).
Open Questions

Closing
Propose some ideas for a talk to Trent 😄
Where does TE fit? —> into business models - how could TE be one of the Business models for web3?
What will go into the web3 stack (tech wise)
How to approach TE to other things than l1 projects?
How to model different projects that interact with each other (complex) rather than simple closed systems?
Future use cases for tokens/innovative solutions for real world problems with tokens/token system.
