Meeting Notes:
Outcome: Passed ✅
Outcome Summary
This proposal passed, and there will be 2 representatives from both Grants 2.0 & Moonshot Collective present in CSDO meetings.
Proposal
Proposal 2 - Lindsey
  • Tension: As we are in a period of transition in formalizing the DAO foundation structure and continuously improving how we build software/protocols, we do not always have balanced representation in crossDAO planning and strategizing spaces.
  • Proposal: Moving forward, have 2 representatives from the Grants 2.0 team and 2 representatives from Moonshot Collective in CSDO and related meetings (such as the upcoming leadership workshop).
    • The Grants 2.0 representatives will not take the place of the Holdings representatives since that seat will go away after the transfer of assets from Holdings to Gitcoin Foundation.
  • Clarifying Questions:
    • Kris: Can’t you use Holdings seats instead of adding additional seats
      • Seats typically held by Loie and Owoki. GPC isn’t adequately represented.
    • Sean: Strategy/Leadership Retreat includes Grants 2.0, but not CSDO?
      • Under the impression that representatives in the CSDO would be at the leadership retreat.
  • Reactions:
    • Tigress: Supportive, would like for GPC to be represented. Unclear if Grants 2.0 is a WS yet
    • Loie: Supportive of inclusivity at CSDO and Grants 2.0 is central to the DAO future success and should be represented. Open to new models of representation at CSDO to
    • Sean: Supportive and would like to see additional protocol discussion at CSDO
    • Huxwell: Supportive
    • Simona: Supportive
    • Emu: Supportive
    • Kris: Not supportive of proposal in current form; Grants 2.0 is not a legitimate WS yet, but could support in the future.
  • Amendments:
    • Can we have two reps for Grants 2.0 at the leadership retreat next month?
  • Objections?
    • None; PASSED!
