How do I mint a Kudos?

How do I mint a Kudos?

  1. Make sure you've designed your Kudos and have the SVG file. (make sure the file name has no special characters e.g. # in it)
  1. Go to https://gitcoin.co/kudos/new
  1. Fill out the form.
  1. Check all three boxes at the bottom.
  1. Go to https://gitcoin.co/_administrationkudos/token/, you should see your Kudos.
  1. Set your kudos token request to be minted on xdai.
  1. If you don't see your Kudos in the link above, (WAIT ABOUT 5 MIN to prevent double minting) it's probably because the gas prices are high, and the transaction is stuck. Go to: https://gitcoin.co/_administrationkudos/tokenrequest/ and use the "gas price override" to force the transaction to use a particular gas price to get the transaction through. Don't pay through your butthole for the Kudos, make sure you go to https://ethgasstation.info/ and choose a gas price that gets your Kudos through at a reasonable rate.
  1. Hit "Mint & Sync Kudos" again.
  1. Once your Kudos is minted & synced, go back to https://gitcoin.co/_administrationkudos/token/, and find the name of your Kudos.
  1. Click into each one, uncheck "send enabled for non gitcoin admins", then "save and continue editing"
  1. Save, then hit "make into bulk transfer coupon".
  1. Modify the "comments to put in kudos transfer"
  1. Change number of uses total and number of uses remaining to 500
  1. Use the redemption link at the bottom to airdrop, right click to copy the link address and that should give you the direct copy link.
  1. If you navigate away, you can still find your bulk redemption coupon here: https://gitcoin.co/_administrationkudos/bulktransfercoupon/
