Martynas Mickevicius

Martynas was a Senior Software engineer with Lightbend, Inc. for five and a half years before becoming a Software Engineer at Argyle. There he worked on tools that allow to build highly scalable distributed systems.

Martynas worked as a Scala DevOp at Tiny Lab Productions for eight months where he worked on building a B2B platform that locates, ranks, and sorts content by travel time.

Before that he was a Software Developer for SEB bankas for over two and a half years where he worked on the design, implementation, and maintenance of the customer data management part of the bank’s CRM system.

He also worked on the feature development of currency trading system, custom ESB solution development based on third-party OSGi platform, and design and implementation of integration and performance testing infrastructure and tools.

Martynas is skilled in Java, Android Development, and Tomcat. He also uses Scala, PHP, Python, Spring, Hibernate, Embedded Linux, C/C++ as well as OSGi, ZK, Progress 4GL, Akka, and REXX.

He has a Bachelor and Master degrees of Computer Science from Vilnius University.
