🔢 Step-by-Step Guide
To Host an Event
- You will need to notify your interest to the coordinator/librarian of this library in advance (as soon as possible to reserve your slot)
- Note that the Mod of the Week is different from a facilitator.
- Mod of the Week has the responsibility of determining topic, prep materials and lead the call.
- The facilitator simply aid the mod (to help guide the conversation and make people feel heard and interested)
- Example: EVENT: Sustaining Public Goods
Determine who will be the mod of the week (this, of course, can be you, but also somebody else if you're only working in ops)
Check out and make sure the mod follows through with their task commitment (simply share this link with them and they will know what to do).
Once you reserved a slot, librarian/coordinator should give you your page to fill out with relevant information. Calendar invites and other logistics can be handled by the team.
Before the Event
- We document our events (through recording and notetaking) so it could be shared with the general public interested in the space of public goods. Please make sure that you have this link (mentioned above).
- You will need a note taking link (example): and link the note to the calendar noteWhy does this library exist?
Events will be held in the Common Room VC under the library section. Here is how to record the call for later upload:
