Getting started
  • Roadmap of next hires & funnel needs

Chat with Will and Chase on IoJ. What does the process look like? What are painpoints?
  • Loie: Starts with a wishlist of roles. Ex: Community Manager. Thinks about what shapes and people are missing. “Is the problem solved by hiring someone?” then scoping out what that looks like. The process of agreeing on the work is much more collaborative.
  • Sean: Painpoint is hiring process and recruiting help/resources.
Workstream updates
To start, what are your current hiring needs? And where are you at in the process? How can Loie (or Rachael) assist you if bandwidth is available?
 
Public Goods
No one present today
  • Is getting people in to the open roles. Is working through org chart and meeting cadences.
  • Keep an eye out for someone who can act as content editor. Educational content experience and web3 experience would be helpful.
  • Has a bit of a funnel, but doesn’t have a good flow. Needs to figure out how to map people’s skills across the DAO.
  • Grants Ops (titles TBC, will add)
  • Folks who need access to airtable:

  • working with Mitzy on how to combine DAO wide onboarding with Public Goods onboarding

Ops
  • Thinking about bringing on a new people ops contributor: opolis, events, etc. Expanding the people ops to more than just Loie.
  • Hiring Manager - posted - 6 candidates, two interviews. Position has been closed. One has talked to Rachael, send another to her.
  • Part time coaches - wishlist; thinking about how it fits into workstreams
  • Community managers - wishlist; thinking about how it fits into workstreams
  • Discord owner - wishlist, Kris would add to JD if Loie starts it
    • deeply engaged in GitcoinDAO
    • make documentation of the discord madness
    • touch point for any and all discord issues and questions
    • make tutorial vids
    • giving guidance on how to evolve the discord structure to best serve the DAO (strategic mind, seniority)
    • 10-15 hrs/week

  • Pay Coordinator - has a person in mind. Convo in the works
  • Not a lot of visibility yet. Has a backlog of onboarding, not posting for anything specifically. Product people will help shape this.

    • Generally no, but needs to continue to be revisited; other issues have come up - may come to a code of conduct or something similar

    • Joe has mocked up possible agreements
    • Kyle has informed many of the prev agreements
  • DAO roles: should we be explicit about hiring for non-APAC timezones?
